Important Installation Note for Chevrolet Traverse Owners
This kit requires an existing FACTORY OEM ELECTRIC POWER TAILGATE. Please verify that your Chevrolet Traverse is equipped with the original electric tailgate before placing an order.
The 2nd Generation Chevrolet Traverse was introduced for the 2018 model year. It received a significant facelift for the 2022 model year, but this update did not create a new generation.
Due to production delays during the transition to the redesigned Traverse, Chevrolet continued the outgoing second-generation model into the 2024 model year under the name Traverse Limited.
The 2024 Traverse Limited is therefore still a 2nd-generation Traverse, while the completely redesigned 2024 Chevrolet Traverse is the 3rd Generation. Chevrolet confirmed that the new Traverse was redesigned from the ground up for 2024.
Do not assume that the 2024 Traverse and 2024 Traverse Limited use the same tailgate components. They are different generations with different rear-body designs.
Please confirm your exact model year, Traverse / Traverse Limited version, trim and factory electric tailgate configuration before ordering.
