Upgrade your Kia EV5 OV (2024-2027) with a smart electric power tailgate system designed specifically for the EV5's dedicated pure-electric vehicle platform.
The system uses dual high-torque electric power struts and a dedicated OV smart MCU control unit to provide smooth and stable automatic opening and closing of the rear tailgate.
Designed for compatible Light, Air, Land and Wave configurations, the system is designed to work with compatible original vehicle controls, including the proximity key fob, front cabin control and inner tailgate switch. A hands-free foot kick sensor is available as an optional add-on.
The system is designed around the EV5's rear hatch geometry, with controlled opening and closing movement, adjustable opening height and intelligent anti-pinch protection for everyday convenience.
