Sponge / Foam Strip Removal Required: Carefully inspect the OEM factory lock block. You MUST completely peel off the black factory sealing sponge/foam layer from the contact surface. If left intact, the sponge will bunch up inside the CV upgrade latch mechanism, creating immense mechanical friction that causes motor return or suction cycle failure.
Bracket Tab Alignment: When integrating the upgrade lock unit with the custom-molded mounting bracket, make sure to slide the bracket tabs firmly into the designated lower slots. Ensure it does not slide out of alignment toward the upper frame before securing the screws.
