This kit requires an existing FACTORY OEM ELECTRIC POWER TAILGATE. Please verify that your Lincoln Nautilus is equipped with the original electric tailgate before placing an order.
The 1st Generation Lincoln Nautilus U540 was introduced as the Nautilus nameplate for the 2019 model year. It was based on the previous-generation Lincoln MKX and represented a major mid-cycle redesign and renaming.
The U540 remained in production through the 2023 model year, including the 2021 and later interior and technology updates.
The 2nd Generation Lincoln Nautilus CDX707 was introduced for the 2024 model year. It features a completely redesigned exterior and interior and is based on the newer Ford/Lincoln vehicle architecture.
The CDX707 is available with a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine and an available 2.0L turbocharged hybrid powertrain, depending on market and trim.
The current 2026 Lincoln Nautilus remains in production, with Premiere, Reserve and Lincoln Black Label trims available. Lincoln's official specifications list an available hands-free power liftgate.
The 2024–Present CDX707 is a completely different generation from the U540. Please do not use U540 installation parts or fitment information for CDX707 vehicles unless specifically confirmed.
