Upgrade the manual rear hatch of the Honda Civic Type R FL5 with a vehicle-specific electric power tailgate system. Designed exclusively for the FL5 5-door Type R from 2023-2027, this kit adds convenient automatic opening and closing while retaining the distinctive factory rear-wing configuration.
The system uses vehicle-specific dual electric struts, dedicated smart control electronics and reinforced mounting components designed around the FL5 rear hatch structure. Depending on the vehicle configuration, operation can be integrated with the original remote key, interior release button and rear tailgate control.
An optional hands-free foot kick sensor is available for added convenience. Adjustable opening height, anti-pinch protection and soft-close support provide smoother and more controlled tailgate operation.
