Upgrade your Honda Civic Type R FK8 Hatchback (2017-2021) with a smart electric power tailgate system by LiTanglee®. This vehicle-specific retrofit converts the manual tailgate into an electrically operated power liftgate while maintaining the sporty character and functional design of the FK8.
The system uses heavy-duty dual electric struts calibrated for the FK8 rear spoiler configuration. The reinforced struts are designed to provide stable and smooth opening and closing performance while handling the additional weight and geometry associated with the Type R's large factory rear wing.
Multiple control methods are supported, including the original remote key fob, driver's-side interior release button and an additional tailgate control button. A hands-free foot kick sensor is also available as an optional add-on for convenient access when your hands are occupied.
