This kit requires an existing FACTORY OEM ELECTRIC POWER TAILGATE. Please verify that your INFINITI QX60 is equipped with the original electric tailgate before placing an order.
The 1st Generation INFINITI QX60 L50 was introduced for the 2014 model year. The vehicle was originally introduced as the INFINITI JX35 and was renamed QX60 for the 2014 model year.
The L50 remained in production through the 2020 model year. It received a significant exterior and interior refresh for the 2016 model year, but this remained within the same L50 generation.
The 2nd Generation INFINITI QX60 L51 was introduced for the 2022 model year after being completely redesigned. It shares its underlying architecture with the contemporary Nissan Pathfinder.
The L51 features a completely redesigned exterior and interior and uses a 3.5L V6 paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission in the conventional gasoline version.
The 2025 model year received updates to the QX60, including revised equipment and styling details. These changes did not create a third generation.
The current L51 generation continues into the 2026 model year. The 2026 QX60 remains part of the second-generation L51 model line.
Important: The L50 and L51 are completely different generations. Please do not use L50 installation parts or fitment information for L51 vehicles unless specifically confirmed.
