Designed for the Mazda MPV / Mazda8 3rd Generation LY from 2006-2016, including selected 2.3L / 2.3T, FWD and 4WD, 7-8 seat configurations. This aftermarket upgrade converts the manual tailgate into a powered electric opening and closing system.
Overview
The LiTanglee® Smart Power Tailgate Lift Kit is designed specifically for the Mazda MPV / Mazda8 3rd Generation LY, providing convenient automatic tailgate opening and closing through a dedicated electric lift system. The kit uses dual electric struts, a dedicated control module and vehicle-specific mounting components.
The dual-strut system is designed around the large MPV rear tailgate structure, providing controlled and stable powered movement during opening and closing. It is suitable for selected manual-tailgate configurations depending on the exact vehicle specification.
Multiple control methods are supported, including the original remote key fob, driver-side control and an inner tailgate button. A hands-free foot kick sensor is also available as an optional add-on.
