Product Components
1. Prep & Wiring
Open the tailgate and locate the wiring harness connection point.
2. OEM Handle Connector
Carefully remove the tailgate trim panel to expose the original handle connector.
3. Button Connector
Connect the supplied wiring harness to the factory tailgate button connector.
4. Control Module
Secure the main control module and ensure all harness connections are snapped in place.
5. Sensor Positioning (Crucial)
Fix the sensor module on the inner side of the bumper.
⚠️ Critical Installation Notes:
- Orientation (UP): The side with the "SENSOR" label must face UPWARD toward the car body.
- Sensing Side (DOWN): The side with the 3M adhesive tape is the sensing surface; it must face OUTWARD/DOWNWARD toward the ground.
- Ensure the 3M tape is firmly pressed to a clean, dry surface on the inner bumper.
- Requirement: Must have factory electric tailgate installed.
