⚠️ CRITICAL PRE-INSTALLATION NOTICE

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING: Please read these notices carefully before starting the installation process. Improper handling may cause product damage or severe vehicle electrical failures.

• Professional Installation Only: To ensure long-term product reliability and vehicle safety, this kit must be installed by a certified automotive technician or at a professional modification shop. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify any components of this kit without prior authorization, as this will void the warranty and may cause accidents.
• System & Vehicle Pre-Check:
  • Before touching any wires, thoroughly verify that all original dashboard displays and instrument cluster functions operate normally.
  • Test all factory interior buttons and lighting systems to ensure they are fully functional.
  • Inspect the tailgate to confirm it currently opens/closes properly, fits flush, and has no structural warping or structural deformation.
  • Perform a full physical walkthrough of the vehicle's interior and exterior surfaces to check for pre-existing scratches. If any issues are found, document them and immediately confirm with the customer before beginning work.
• Power Off Regulation: Prepare all required tools beforehand. Turn off the vehicle ignition entirely. NEVER plug in or unplug any wiring sockets/harnesses while the system is powered on, as this will instantly fry or damage the main control ECU module. Keep the vehicle's main power completely disconnected throughout the installation.
• Parts Management & Short-Circuit Prevention: All factory OEM screws, clips, and trim components removed during installation must be cataloged, labeled, and stored separately to prevent loss. Every single wire joint and custom splice must be completely insulated using automotive-grade electrical tape/heat-shrink tubing to avoid short circuits.
• Safe Harness Routing & Layout: When routing our company’s custom wiring harness, strictly follow the recommended layout path. Ensure the wires are securely tied down and kept completely clear of any moving mechanical parts inside the vehicle. Avoid running cables near critical control areas such as the steering column, drive shaft, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal assembly.

• CAN-Bus Pre-Check: Ensure the factory lower tailgate switch and upper glass latch operate seamlessly without any existing cluster warning lights before unpacking our upgrade kit.
• Strict Power-Off Regulation: Turn off the vehicle ignition entirely. NEVER plug in or unplug any wiring sockets/harnesses while the system is powered on, as this will instantly fry the main control ECU module.
• Grounding & Insulation: Range Rover systems are highly sensitive to ground loops. Ensure the ground wire is securely fastened to the OEM chassis grounding point. Every pinout joint must be perfectly insulated.
